KLASS MACHINE HEALTH CHECK - Funded Machine Health Checks to Support Our Customers
The Klass Group, through it's wealth of experience within the machine tool and manufacturing sectors, have developed and funded the new innovative Machine Tool Health Check. The tool is designed to safeguard our customer’s Plant, People and Profits by helping our customers to prevent costly breakdowns. (Please note that this is not a Health & Safety Check)
What Does It Do?
The 22 point Machine Tool Health Check examines and quickly identifies any potential problems before they occur. The customer can then take early action to remedy any future problems identified, and as a result, reduce costly production downtime and/or disruptive machine breakdowns.
How Does It Work?
At your request we will send a trained Machine Health Check Inspector to your premises to check up to 4 machines in one visit (dependent on size and complexity.) Our Inspector will check and provide you with a report on:
- Overall appearance and cleanliness of each machine and its ability to operate effectively in four key areas.
- Appearance and cleanliness of electrical switchgear control again, four key areas will be examined.
- Appearance of each machine’s Hydraulics system and its ability to operate effectively in three key areas.
- Appearance of axis backlash, and appearance of slide ways/guards, appearance of spindles, lubrication, coolant, appearance of swarf conveyors and last but not least OEM guarding.
There is no cost or obligation for the machine health check. All we ask is that when we have submitted our report and findings you allow us to go through the report with you and if required be allowed to prepare a competitive quote.
